The Marquis of Charter today kept true to his promise of territorial expansion by signing the Treaty of Arco Mediterraneo. The treaty formally annexes a small holding in Torrevieja, Spain. It is believed the territory will be used mainly as a military installation and outpost. The treaty names the Imperial Armed Forces in charge of the territories maintenance and general running.
The Government and the Imperial Armed Forces have been very secretive about the new territory, refusing to discuss any details about it, including the climate, population or the names of any districts within the territory. It is not known whether the treaty has been approved by the Imperial Grand Duke who has been ill as of late.
