Constitutional Amendment I

  1. Chapter 8, article 55 and 56 are hereby repealed.

  2. Instead, the Minister of the Interior and the Grand Region will directly control all the Cities.

  3. The Minister of the Interior and the Grand Region shall be responsible for the preparation of birth, marriage, and death certificates and the keeping of the registers.

  4. All Mayors will be relieved of their posts, but may keep the title ceremoniously.

  5. An addition will be made to Chapter 3, section 2, article 33: iv. Imperial Edicts may also be used to create and award civil and military orders, decorations and medals.
