It has been revealed that the Rt. Hon. Roberto Bruno MP brought cases against Alan Powell, Benjamin Ortiz, Windsor Coburg, Sue Ryder, Bruce Robert Nevin and Gus Nevin last Sunday. The defendants were tried in absentia and were represented by the Prime Minister who refused to contest any of the evidence and actually stated in court that he believed all defendants were guilty of their crimes. The defendants were tried separately with each case lasting only a few minutes. The prosecution asked the court that they acknowledge only one count of treason for each of the defendants rather than the one count of treason per day as recorded in the arrest warrants. With the Imperial Grand Duke himself presiding, all of the defendants were found guilty and were barred from ever entering the Imperial Grand Duchy. Justice prevailed over the guilty. The Imperial Grand Duke stated after all the cases:
It is disappointing that none of the defendants weren’t apprehended ad fairly tried. However, when former citizens refuse to return to their mother country we have no option to try them in absentia. Thank you all for everyone’s hard work today and hopefully this will be the start of rebuilding a nation torn apart by this civil dispute.
It is believed documents pertaining to the court cases will be published towards the end of the month.
Yesterday was quite a momentous day for the Imperial Grand Duchy of Lundenwic as the keys to the territory of Bedfunta were officially handed back to the Baron of Bedfunta, Lord Lewis. The handing over of the keys, as foretold last month, marks an official end to the Lundener Civil War. Al Powell and the Marquis of New Charter chatted amicably before the keys were handed over. The Imperial Government is keen to thank all of those who supported them during the Civil War. The Prime Minister commented, “We made the pledge that the Civil War would be over this year and we have fulfilled that pledge. This is a historic day and I thank all those involved.” We are guessing he didn’t mean the Communists in his comment.
Earlier in the day, Dallin Langford revealed the referendum in the DRCC to join the Imperial Grand Duchy of Lundenwic had passed with a massive 80% majority. This means the Treaty of Mir can finally be signed and the territory of Cinnamon Creek incorporated into Lundenwic. This will be the first ever micronation annexed by Lundenwic and the Imperial Government is committed to bringing back it’s former glory, brimming with activity. The Minister of the Interior was quick to welcome the DRCC by saying, “I’d like to welcome our new brothers into the fold of Lundenwic,” while the Prime Minister reiterated Lundenwic’s commitment to the Protectorate of Cinnamon Creek, “This is a great chance of the community to see what we can do. For too long now we’ve hidden our inner workings and achievements. We’ve been greatly helped by the community and it is about time we gave back, about time that we helped.”Soon-to-be Governor-General Dallin Langford who actually held the referendum within the former DRCC said, “I think the signing of the Treaty of Mir, is excellent, there is no words to describe my joy in DRCC joining Lundenwic. Activity will soar higher than ever before and we will be in an honorable nation. I’m certainly pleased at the aspect of Ludenwic’s annexation of DRCC. May God Bless Lundenwic!” Lastly, our greatest ally and friend, HI&RM, Oscar, Emperor-King of Karnia-Ruthenia, one with much experience in this kind of expansion congratulated us by saying, “The DRCC joining with Lundenwic means they will become greater and bring much needed democracy to a young micro nation that has already suffered too much. This is the beginning of a reign of stability to them.”
Freak weather has been reported around Arco Mediterraneo with violent thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. Residents of Arco Meditteraneo have reported the territory is safe for the time being. More thunderstorms were expected this morning, but residents believe the worst may be over.
It was also noticed that the Communist Party of Lundenwic’s Torreblanca territory was affected by the flooding. It is unclear how bad the damage is. It marks a decline in the CPL’s fortunes as they are already being evicted from their UK base.
The Military Committee met today and issued warrants for Benjamin Ortiz, Gus Nevin and Sue Ryder for military crimes including desertion and assisting an enemy. The announcement was not a surprise given the Imperial Government’s renewed aggression against the Communist Party of Lundenwic. The Imperial Government is now seeking to further normalise its functions as it prepares for the end of the Lundener Civil War.
This includes additions to the website like new pages for the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Defence as well as the budgets for the past three years. A list of documents recently added are as follows: 2014 Annual Budget Report, 2015 Annual Budget Report, International Agricultural Development Pact, A TREATY OF MUTUAL RECOGNITION AND FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN THE IMPERIAL GRAND DUCHY OF LUNDENWIC AND THE STATE OF NEDLAND, A TREATY OF MUTUAL RECOGNITION AND FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN THE IMPERIAL GRAND DUCHY OF LUNDENWIC AND THE DUCHY OF HODINY, Arrest Warrants, Hurtful Associations Act 2016, List of banned terrorist groups, organisations and associations and Military Tribunal Warrants.

Today the Prime Minister spectacularly announced that the Lundener Civil War would be over next month after he handed the Rebels an eviction notice. The eviction notice, by English law, means the Rebels have to leave the property within the month or face the legal consequences. It is a massive boost to the Imperial Government after peace talks with the Communists had completely failed. The Prime Minister also confirmed that fresh arrest warrants had been signed by the Imperial Grand Duke on Friday for members of the CPL. The new arrest warrants included ‘participation of a banned group’ which was made a crime the same day when the Prime Minister and the Imperial Grand Duke signed the Hurtful Associations Act 2016. The Imperial Grand Duke and the Prime Minister used the powers granted to them thanks to the current state of emergency to pass the act. This means the act didn’t need to get the approval of the Parliament. However, both the Minister of the Interior and the Minister of Justice read and approved the act before it was signed.

I have the greatest pleasure in saying that today I served the Communists with an eviction notice. This means they have one month to vacate the property by English law. This also means the Lundener Civil War will be over next month. On the 14th November Col. Mick Lewis and his wife will be returning to Bedfunta from Arco Mediterraneo. I think you will all agree that this a momentous moment in Lundener history and a huge victory for the People, Lundenwic and Free Fascism. The Imperial Grand Duke has completely supported the move and has signed arrest warrants for a number of known members of the Communist Party of Lundenwic.
The Imperial Grand Duke said he was “cautiously optimistic” by the news. While the Minister of the Interior said, “It’s good to see the light at the end of the tunnel after this long and harrowing war with the Communists.”

The Prime Minister has stepped in to reject a ‘crude’ peace treaty drawn up by Alan Powell. It was received on the 13th August in the capital of New Charter and was passed onto the Imperial Grand Duke himself. However, it is believed that the Imperial Grand Duke has failed to comment on the treaty and now the Prime Minister, who is not part of the peace treaty talks, has stepped in to publicly reject it.
The Prime Minister said in a statement: “I cannot allow this crude peace treaty to be taken seriously. There is no compromise. Alan gets what he wants at a cost to the Imperial Grand Duchy. I will not stand for it!”

Terms of Peace
- The People’s Liberated Territories of Lundenwic and the Imperial Grand Duchy of Lundenwic agree to put an end to the Lundener Civil War immediately.
- Both parties agree to recognise each others’ sovereignty and official governments.
- Both parties agree to stop all propaganda attacks against one another and agree to recognise and respect each others ideologies.
The Minister of the Interior, Roberto Bruno MP, appeared to take a veiled swipe at the Prime Minister when he said, “This is a huge blow to the peace process. I hope the Imperial Grand Duke has a back-up plan or something.”
The Prime Minister has released two new propaganda posters that have been graciously designed by two separate micronations. While Lundenwic does not actually hold relations with either the Principality of Nossia or the Empire Of Lifréia, they have rightfully opted to support the legitimate government in the Lundener Civil War. Since the start of the Civil War on 13th September 2015 a total of fourteen different micronations. The latest two nations to declare their support personally are our old friends, the Consulat of Surland and another nation new to the Imperial Grand Duchy, the United Kingdom of Fitberland.

The Government has also revealed that the Imperial Grand Duchy has signed a treaty with the Popular Union of Occitania proving the Imperial Government is able to hold relations with Communist nations.
